What is the study about?
The aim of the study is to see how the use of a smartphone application can impact user behaviour such as physical activity and social interactions.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking volunteers who are over 18 years of age and who currently own an Android smartphone device.

What will I have to do?
Your involvement in the study will be over the course of a week. A short initial survey will be used to assess your current levels of physical and social activity. You will then be asked to install the application on your android device and play through the game in your vicinity. This is a crafting adventure game where you will travel around the world, collecting resources to build and wield rare items. The game uses real- world locations to generate the game content, so you will be required to walk around to play the game. The testing will finish with a quick online feedback survey.

What are the benefits?
The information from this study may help researchers gain a better understanding of the positive effects of these types of games and provide innovative ideas for further research into treating symptoms of depression and anxiety.
